Welcome everyone to what we hope will be the first of many Arkansas Challenge Events to come. This Event will be held at Mt. Nebo State Park.
The many trails and multiple access points make this park the perfect place for this type of event.We have reserved the large pavilion for the entire day and the park staff is very excited about this event. There are cabins and plenty of tent camping options available at the park. And of course there are plenty of hotels in the area.
We hope everyone will come join us for a very fun time for a weekend filled with activities.

Many of you may ask just what is a challenge event. Well the simple explanation is as follows: A certain number of temporary caches will be placed among the many trails of the state park. Each cache will be worth a a certain number of points depending on the terrain and difficulty rating of each. Participants will have a predetermined amount of time to find as many caches as possible. The team or individual with the highest score will be the winner. A link with a more detailed list of the rules will be provided very soon as details are finalized.

For those not wishing to participate in the competitive portion of the challenge there are lots of caches in the park and the surrounding areas.

- Friday Night Dinner Before The Challenge(GC3ENNW)
- Registration Begins at 8:30am Saturday.
- Geo Bingo, GPS Accuracy,and other activities to be announced later.
- Pathtag and geocoin swap.
- All competitors must be Registered and at pavilion by 9:30 for briefing and coordinate download.
- Please use the registration link above to sign up for the competitive challenge. Note: there is a $2 registration fee.
- Scorecards will be handed out at 10am and competition begins.
- Competition concludes at 2pm sharp. There will be time penalties for late returns so plan accordingly.
- Awards ceremony and wrap up 4pm.
